I'm not sure if there are any movies that prominently feature blogs, like as an important plot point or almost character. There probably are some. But in any case, I think my blog would be pretty f*ing good in any movie. Just putting that OUT THERE.
i noticed that the phrase 'out there' was in all caps. any particular reason? people accuse me of reading into things too much, but i disagree. i think that the unexamined life is not worth living.
it's interesting that you mentioned movies because i have a related proposition for you. my partner and i, a famous lyricist whose name i'll reveal when/if our negotiations progress, would like to buy the rights to your fabulous blog! we have a vision for a great stage production, a musical possibly to be titled "The Boogie-Woogie Blogger Babe on Broadway" or maybe "Avenue B" (which do you like?). Basically you, and the many intelligent, talented people who have contributed to your "project," will sing the lines you have written for your blog. Of course, everyone will be fitted with laptops and lapel microphones. There will be a flimsy plot line to hang all the great songs on--boy meets girl and at the end they sing "Havin' My Blog." Our terms our favorable, and we urge you to consider them. Otherwise, remember that nothing on your site is actually copyrighted, and this is a mere courtesy. Thanks!
